NLU Delhi Hosts Vice-President Of India For Student Induction Programme Of The Inaugural Batch Of The WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. In IP Law And Management

NLU Delhi hosted the Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, for the induction programme of the inaugural batch of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. in IP Law and Management on August 16, 2024. The day was truly special, starting with the plantation of a sapling by the guest, symbolizing commitment to growth and a sustainable future.

The Vice-President then inaugurated new Amphitheatre, a place where students will gather for academic and cultural activities.

The incoming students were warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul, and the dedicated faculty. The occasion was attended by Smt. Himani Pande, Additional Secretary, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Prof. Dr. V.K. Ahuja, Director, Indian Law Institute, whose presence added to the significance of the event.

Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai delivered an inspiring welcome speech, setting an uplifting tone for the proceedings. The highlight of the day was the motivational address by the Vice-President whose words left the audience inspired and eager to embark on their academic journey.
