    Justice Ravi Shankar Jha, former Chief Justice of the Punjab & Haryana High Court and Acting Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, has been appointed as the Patron-in-Chief of the Centre for Research in Commercial and Corporate Laws. Justice Jha's illustrious career in the judiciary began with his appointment as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh on 18th October 2005. His exceptional legal acumen and dedication to justice quickly earned him a permanent position as a Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh on 2nd February 2007. Demonstrating his leadership and judicial expertise, Justice Jha held the esteemed office of Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh from 10th June 2019 to 5th October 2019. His judicial journey reached new heights when he was elevated to the position of Chief Justice of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana on 6th October 2019. During his tenure, which lasted until 13th October 2023, Justice Jha continued to exemplify integrity, fairness, and a deep commitment to the rule of law.
