HNLU Triumphs At RBI Policy Challenge 2024

A team of first-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students from Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) have emerged victorious in the prestigious RBI Policy Challenge 2024. The team, comprising Kruthika Senthil Kumar, Nandana Arun, Malvika Chandra, and Nagam Suchasri, achieved this remarkable feat under the expert mentorship of Ms. Priyanka Tomar, Assistant Professor of Economics, HNLU

The national rounds of the RBI Policy Challenge were held at the Reserve Bank of India Head Office in Mumbai. Competing against teams from top institutions across the country, the HNLU team demonstrated exceptional analytical skills, in-depth understanding of economic policies, and innovative solutions to complex financial issues.

The winners were awarded a trophy, a cash prize of INR 1,50,000, and a prestigious three-month internship at the RBI in the department of their choice. The award was presented by Shri V Anantha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor, Government of India and Shri T Rabi Sankar, Deputy Governor of the RBI, in a ceremony that highlighted the importance of nurturing young talent in the field of economic policy-making.

The RBI Policy Challenge is an annual competition that aims to engage university students in policy research and encourage them to contribute to the economic discourse in the country. HNLU's success at this prestigious event underscores its status as a leading institution for legal and economic studies.
