Two-Days Boot Camp On New Criminal Laws Concludes At Dharmashastra National Law University

The Two-Day Boot Camp on New Criminal Laws, focusing on the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), successfully concluded at Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur.

The event was organized by the Centre for Criminal Justice Administration and Research at DNLU in collaboration with the Centre for Legislative Research & Reforms (CLRR), under th leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Vice- Chancellor of DNLU.

The boot camp was inaugurated on December 23, 2024, by the Chief Guest, Justice Avanindra Kumar Singh, Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh. Conducted in a hybrid format over two days, the sessions featured leading experts in criminal law, including:

High Court, Mr. Anubhav Jha, Assistant Professor, RGNUL, Shri S.N. Khare, Retired District Judge, Dr. Mukulita Vijayawargiya, Founder, CLRR, Mr. Gautam Gupta, Director, CJAR, Dr. Sankalp Singh, Assistant Professor, DNLU.

The boot camp attracted over 100 participants from across India, offering them an opportunity to engage with leading academic experts, seasoned practitioners, and judicial authorities. Through interactive sessions, attendees gained comprehensive insights into the new criminal law frameworks and expanded their understanding of emerging practices in the field.
