Colloquium On Institutional ADR

Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, organised colloquium on Institutional ADR. The colloquium was held in association with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM), New Delhi; Triumvir Law, Bangalore; Centre for Mediation & Conciliation, Bombay Chambers of Commerce, Mumbai; Hyderabad Arbitration & Mediation Centre (HAC); Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation, New Delhi, International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR); Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and Shehata & Partners, Egypt.
Mr. Gauhar Mirza, Partner, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.; Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Senior Lecturer, RMIT University, Melbourne;Mr. Pranav Budihal, Associate Counsel, Singapore International Arbitration Centre; Ms. Ekta Bahl, Partner, Samvad Partners & Empanelled Arbitrator, Centre for Mediation and Conciliation, Bombay; Mr. Sravan Unnam, Head, Hyderabad Arbitration & Mediation Centre; Ms. Apoorva Vishnoi, Research Fellow, Centre for Trade and Investment Law, Government of India and Ms. Laura Jiménez, Associate, Ashurst LLP, Dubai were panelists on the first day. Mr. Anubhab Sarkar, Partner & Co-Founder, Triumvir Law moderated the session that focused on the Singapore Convention on Mediation, its potential role in the rise of Institutional Mediation in India, and the benefits for institutions to diversify into offering multiple centralized ADR mechanisms.
