The University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Legal Service Authority, has announced the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Moot Court Competition, 2024. This national-level event is set to be a showcase of legal acumen and advocacy skills, bringing together the brightest legal minds from across the country. Scheduled to take place at the picturesque USTM campus in Baridua, 9th mile, Ri-Bhoi District, Meghalaya, this competition promises to be a platform for budding legal professionals to hone their skills, interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, and gain valuable insights from esteemed judges and legal experts.
The competition, named in honour of the visionary Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, aims to promote the ideals of justice, equality, and legal education that he stood for. It seeks to inspire a new generation of legal professionals to uphold these principles and work towards a more just and equitable society. Participants in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Moot Court Competition, 2024, can look forward to engaging in stimulating moot court sessions, where they will argue on carefully crafted legal problems that challenge their analytical and advocacy skills. They will be judged by a panel of experienced legal practitioners and scholars, who will provide valuable feedback to help them improve.
