Details of the Moot Court Competition are as below:

• Name of the Event: 2^nd National Moot Court Competition, 2022.

• Dates: 11^th November, 2022 – Inaugural Ceremony & Preliminary Rounds.

12^th November, 2022- Octa Finals, Quarter Finals & Researcher's Test.

13^th November, 2022- Semi Finals, Finals & Valedictory Ceremony.

• Conduct of the Competition: On Campus (Physically).

• Venue: College Campus, School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University, Road Society Area, Clement Town, Dehradun, Uttarakhand-248002.

• Moot Proposition: The Moot Problem revolves around the human's growing dependency upon Artificial Intelligence ('AI') based software/ robots/ equipment and the criminal liabilities arising out of it in terms of the provisions of criminal statutes. The moot proposition also highlights the unseen Constitutional aspects flowing from the growing dependency on AI.

• Awards and Prizes: That the following perks shall be awarded in the Competition:

• Team Awards:

• Winners: The Team shall be awarded a cash prize of INR 36,000/- (Indian Rupees Thirty-Six Thousand Only) along with Internship Opportunity with a Phoenix Legal plus six months subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Excellence.

• Runners up: The Team shall be awarded a cash prize of INR 30,000/- (Indian Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) along with an Internship Opportunity with KIAA (Knowledge Information Access Associates) LLP plus six months subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Excellence.

• Best Memorial: The Team having the highest average Memorial scores from both sides shall be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 15,000/- (Indian Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) along with an Internship Opportunity with Chambers of Abhinav Mishra: Advocates & Solicitors, New Delhi along with six months subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Excellence.

• Individual Awards:

• The Researcher scoring the highest score in the Researcher's Test shall be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 11,000/- (Indian Rupees Eleven Thousand Only) along with a 6-month subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Merit.

• The Best Mooter from the Final Round shall be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 11,000/- (Indian Rupees Eleven Thousand Only) along with a 6-month subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Merit.

• The Best Mooter from the Semi-Final round shall be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 9,000 (Indian Rupees Nine Thousand Only) along with a 6-month subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Merit

• The Best Mooter from the Quarter-Final round shall be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 7,500/- (Indian Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred Only) along with a 6-month subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Merit.

• The Best Mooter from the Octa-Final round shall be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 5,500/- (Indian Rupees Five Thousand Five Hundred Only) along with a 6-month subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Merit.

• The Best Mooter from the Preliminary rounds shall be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 4,500/- (Indian Rupees Four Thousand Five Hundred Only) along with a 6-month subscription of "SCC Online" plus a Certificate of Merit.

The Last date for completion of all registration formalities (Form + Payment) is 15^th October, 2022 (Till 11.59 P.M. IST).
