21st K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court 2025 [21st- 23rd February]

The K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court, established in 2005, honors the late Senior Advocate Mr. K.K. Luthra. It is a international criminal law moot court competition in India, attracting top law colleges from both India and abroad. Held annually at Delhi University's Campus Law Centre, the competition commemorates Mr. Luthra's 49-year legal career, during which he appeared in trial courts, High Courts, and the Supreme Court of India.

This year also marks the birth Centenary of late Mr. K.K. Luthra, Sr. Advocate and late Mrs. Nirmal Luthra nee Batra.

This year 72 Universities/Colleges (out of 127 Universities) have been selected to participate in the competition both from India and abroad including Northumbria University (United Kingdom), University of Mauritius (Mauritius), University of Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe), Tashkent State University of Law (Uzbekistan), Prithvi Narayan Campus (Tribhuvan University), Tulsipur Metro College, National Law College, Nepal Law Campus (Nepal), Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Independent University (Bangladesh), General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (Sri Lanka) and University of Lagos (Nigeria)

The details are:-

21st February, 2025 (Friday): Inaugural Function at the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi (Chattra Marg), Delhi (4:30 pm to 5:15 pm) followed by and Preliminary Rounds-I (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm) at the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, Delhi (India).

22nd February, 2025 (Saturday): Preliminary Rounds-II (9:00 am – 12:00 pm), the Octa Final Rounds (2:30 pm to 4:00 pm) & the Quarter Final Rounds (5:30 pm – 7:00 pm) at the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi.

23rd February, 2025 (Sunday): Semi Final Rounds (10:30 am to 12:00 pm) and the Final Round (2:00 pm to 3:30 pm) at Silver Oak, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi followed by Prize Distribution (4:00 pm to 4:45 pm) and at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
