MNLU Mumbai: One Year LL.M(Executive) 2022-23

Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 on 20th March 2014, is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. The Act envisaged establishing National Law Universities in Maharashtra to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies for the advancement of the societal life of the people in the country. The prime goal of the University is to disseminate advanced legal knowledge and processes of law amongst the students and impart in them the skills of advocacy, legal services, and law reforms and make them aware and capable to utilize these instruments for social transformation and development. In recent years, university has taken long strides in areas of research and has established Research Centres to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:

MNLU Mumbai has floated LL.M. (Executive) a one year program and invites application for admission. LL.M. (Executive) Programme is unique and tailored to meet the needs and expectations law professionals who want to upgrade their knowledge but for personal or professional reasons, are unable to take a regiourus regular residential LL.M. program. Programme and Courses are devised to benefit and advance careers of law professionals.

ELIGIBILITY:-LL.B. (3 yrs/5 yrs) and has been in service or had professional experience will be eligible to enroll for the said programme.

NUMBER OF SEATS:-Total seats will be 50 (Additional 10 seats for NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign National)

MODE:-The LL.M. (Executive) Programme will be conducted through a classroom teaching. Classes will be conducted only on, Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays or Weekday evenings.

ADMISSION CRITERIA:-

Candidates for admission will be selected on the basis of Entrance Test conducted by MNLU Mumbai scheduled in July 2022. The merit cut-off list will accordingly be prepared for admission. Reservation is as per Maharashtra Government Rules

NOTE: LL. M. (Executive) degree shall as of now qualify a candidate to provide eligibility for NET/SET & Ph.D Exams.

COURSE FEE/PAYMENT:-

Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rs. One Lakh Fifty Thousand only) for Maharashtra Domicile.

Rs. 1,70,000/- (Rs. One Lakh Seventy Thousand only) for Non-Maharashtra Domicile.

USD 3500/- (USD Three Thousand Five Hundred only) for Foreign Nationals.
