The NUJS ADR Society will be organising the ADR-ODR International NUJS Civil and Commercial Mediation Training Programme.

    Dates: 2nd March to 5th March, 2020

This will be conducted as a part of the 2nd NUJS Mediation Competition. This event offers a course for mediation accreditation along with a competition experience. The training programme will be conducted by Mr. Rahim Shamji, the founder of ADR-ODR International, and his team, and will involve practical learning exercises to help develop the essential skills to become a successful mediator.

Delegates will be involved in role-playing mediation sessions, group discussions, and exercises in order to practice the skills being learned.

Eligibility: The course is open to all students pursuing a bachelor's (3-year or 5-year course) or master's in Law.

Deadline for Application: Students can apply for the course by filling out the registration form here or by sending an e-mail to adrsoc@nujs.edu with the subject "Registration: NUJS ADR-ODR Mediation Training Program" by 15th January, 2020.

Key Takeaway: Students who successfully complete the training programme will be awarded the status of an ADR-ODR International Accredited Civil/Commercial Mediator recognized by the Civil Mediation Council. Since the program is skill-based and is focused on practical learning, it helps participants develop a specific set of skills which will help them even further in real-life situations.

Registration Fee: Participants will be required to pay a registration fee of INR 25,000. Accommodation for the 3 days of the course can be availed at a cost of INR 2,100.
