"The Singapore International Arbitration Centre and the NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad are pleased to announce the launch of a certificate course titled SIAC & Institutional Arbitration (SIAC Module). Arbitral institutions are important stakeholders in the field of international arbitration, but the nature and importance of their role have often been overlooked. The course seeks to introduce participants to the role and function of arbitral institutions in guiding and shaping the practice and development of international arbitration, and to the complex issues that arbitral institutions face in the administration of arbitrations, including, among others, the appointment of arbitrators and the issuance of arbitral rules and practice notes".
The course will be taught by lecturers from the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Board of Directors, Court of Arbitration and Secretariat. The list of the lecturers is set out below:

Registration:-
Registration is on first come first serve basis. There are 40 seats in total.
The registration fees for students and practitioners are 1500 rupees and 3000 rupees respectively. The students must have qualified the 3rd year of the five year LL.B. course. The course is open for Advocates, Engineers and Chartered Accountants.
Documents Required
1)For Students- Scanned copy of Transcript of 3rd year or College Identity Card.
2)For Advocates-Scanned Copy of LL.B Degree or certificate of enrollment with the Bar Council or Identity Card issued by the Bar Council or your present employer.
3) For Engineers and Chartered Accountants scanned copies of their degree or proof of professional qualification.
At the end of the course all the candidates will get a certificate of participation from the NALSAR University of Law, provided he/she attends at least 75% of all the sessions.
The Closing date for Registration is 15th November 2021.
