MNLU Mumbai Organizes Two Days International Conference On Law And Management [Sept16 & 17, 2022]

Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 on 20th March 2014, is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. The Act envisaged establishing National Law Universities in Maharashtra to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies for the advancement of the societal life of the people in the country. The prime goal of the University is to disseminate advanced legal knowledge and processes of law amongst the students and impart in them the skills of advocacy, legal services, law reforms and make them aware and capable to utilize these instruments for social transformation and development. In recent years, university has taken long strides in areas of research and has established Research Centres to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies.

ABOUT THE CENTRE FOR LAW AND MANAGEMENT

As the world is getting increasingly globalized, management has assumed a vital role in every field of activity. Over the years we find a shift from regulation to management as part of the economic liberalization. The new world economic order has brought in along with it enormous legal complications. The combination of law and management is vital in addressing the legal challenges from the management perspective. The university has established the Centre for Law and Management in order to facilitate advanced learning and multidisciplinary Research by integrating law with management.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

As we are setting a new trend by integrating Law and Management, we have introduced 2 MBA programs in line with the international trend. One being MBA (International Business, Taxation and Law) and the other being MBA (Corporate Finance, Banking and Law). The combination of these disciplines needs sensitization through thorough research. Keeping this in view we have organized a 2 day International Conference on Law and Management on the 16th and 17th September 2022.
