Noida International University: 4th Moot Court Competition [28th -29th September]

Noida International University was established under U.P. LEGISLATURE ACT NO. 27 OF 2010 and recognized by Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. It achieved recognition for its academic prowess by receiving the A+ highest score of 3.44 out of 4 during the first cycle of NAAC accreditation, outperforming all other private state universities in India. This honor was bestowed by the prestigious autonomous institution under the UGC, Ministry of Education, Government of India. NIU offers a diverse range of programs across 12 schools. These programs span Engineering, Management, Law, Medical, and Social Sciences, catering to the academic interests of students from over 60+ notions who place their trust in the university's curriculum.

Noida International University, Greater Noida is organizing up the 4th National Moot Court Competition, 2024. The Competition is being organized by School of Law and Legal Affairs, Noida International University in its campus from 28th to 29th September 2024.The competition will be a platform to bring together some of the most creative and astute young minds and will witness their mastery on advocacy and research to be adjudged by experts in the field of law.They strive to create an environment through simulated experiences in the competition where students can learn the court craft.

Important Dates

• 1 July 2024- Release of Moot Problem, Invitation, rules and Opening of Registration
• 31 July 2024- Last Date For seeking Clarification Regarding Moot Problem
• 6 August 2024- Release Of Clarification
• 31 August 2024- Last Date for Registration along with uploading and submission (via-e-mail) o scanned Copy of Authority Letter, Travel Plan and Hospitality Request Letter.
• 9 September 2024- Last Date for Submission of Memorial and Compendium in soft copy.
• 16 September 2024- Last date of approval of teams by Moot Society, NIU.
• 23 September 2024- Last date for Submission of Memorial and Compendium in Hard Copy.
• 28 September 2024- Desk Registration, Inauguration, Preliminary Round and Quarter Round.
• 28 September 2024- Researcher Test
• 29 September 2024- Semi Final Round, Final Round and Valedictory

Prizes and Awards

• Winner Team: 31000 Rupees Only + Trophy + Certificate
• Runner Up: 21000 Rupees Only + Trophy + Certificate
• Best Speaker( Male & Female): 5000 Rupees only(each) + Trophy+ Certificate
• Best Researcher (Male & Female): 5000 Rupees only(each) + Trophy+ Certificate
• Best Memorial: 5000 Rupees only(each) + Trophy+ Certificate

In addition to Awards under above—mentioned categories, Certificates, as token of appreciation, shall be distributed to all members of participating teams and all the volunteers.

Registration Fees & Procedure

The Fee prescribed for registration of each team is:

Early Bird registration fee: INR 3900/- (exclusive of accommodation).

Registration Fee after 14th August 2024: INR 4200/- (exclusive of accommodation).

Any additional person accompanying with team as Observer/ Coach/ Escort shall have to pay a registration fee of INR 2000/- (exclusive of accommodation).
