HNLU Raipur Hosts Workshop On “Careers In Public Policy” In Collaboration With Vidhi Centre For Legal Policy

HNLU in partnership with Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, New Delhi, organized a workshop on “Careers in Public Policy” on September 18, 2024. Dr. Avinash Samal, Dean of Social Sciences and Student Welfare touched upon the important role of public policy in shaping the governance of a country and the role of the legal fraternity in such policy contributions.

The keynote address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Srivastava, Director of the School of Public Policy, who highlighted the significance of public policy in addressing complex societal challenges.

Mr. Jay Vinayak Ojha, a research fellow at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, provided an in-depth analysis of the various career opportunities in the field, the skills required for success, and potential pathways for aspiring professionals. Ms. Mahvish Kazmi, Program Manager for Kautilya Societies at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, conducted an orientation session, providing an overview of the Kautilya Society's vision and initiative interacting with the audience.
