Call For Papers: NLU Delhi Invites Submissions On the Theme 'Indian Family System: Contemporary Issues'

Centre For Comparative Studies In Personal Laws National Law University Delhi invites papers on the theme INDIAN FAMILY SYSTEM: CONTEMPORARY ISSUES.
Family system has always been the backbone of Indian society since times immemorial. With the advent of economic liberalization and globalization Indians have witnessed several changes in the family set-up. Keeping in view this shift, the Centre for Comparative Studies in Personal Laws is planning to come up with a publication on contemporary issues emerging in the Indian Family System and reflecting on the core concerns and ethical issues prevent in modern Indian society. Research based papers/articles are invited from the academicians, practitioners and scholars from the field of law and related areas. Few related subjects are mentioned below which are mere indicative and broad. Specific research based articles may also be submitted for the publication.

- Institution of Marriage: Changing Notions
- Child Marriage
- Same Sex Marriage
- Live-in Relationship: Pros and Cons
- Divorce and ADR
- Succession and Inheritance
- Property Rights with specific reference to Daughters, Married and Divorced Women Adoption & Parenthood
- Guardianship & Custody
- Maintenance Rights of Children, Wife & Elderly People
- The book shall be published with ISBN accepting quality research papers after peer reviewing process by experts in the field. The Editorial team recommends the use of APA Style Manual 6th Edition for citing references (Sample style referencing may be referred at https://apastyle.apa.org/instructional-aids/reference-examples.pdf) with not more than 6000 words. The paper in accordance with guidelines may be submitted through email at csplnlud@nludelhi.ac.in on or before 30th January 2023.
- The papers must be genuinely ORIGINAL. In case, any other author is quoted, citation is a must.
- Papers need to be restricted upto maximum 6000 words excluding footnote counts.
- A 4 size, 12 pt size, MS Word, Times New Roman font 1.5 line space.
- Authors need to submit their papers in the following manner:
- Title of the paper
- Author/Authors name, designation, institution
- Abstract (Not more than 200 words)
- Keywords
- Introduction.
- Body of the paper
- Conclusion
- References/Bibliography
