Call For Articles : GNLU-CPIL Magazine [Volume I, Issue I] [Submit By 31st March]

The GNLU-CPIL Magazine is a peer-reviewed publication that provides a platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to contribute to contemporary debates in Public and Private International Law, Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law, Foreign Policy, and related fields. It is published by the Editorial Board of Gujarat National Law University and is administered by faculty and students of the University.

The purpose of the magazine is to provide insights into recent legal developments in international law and to encourage research in the field. The publication follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring academic integrity and originality.

Submissions are invited for Volume I, Issue I, in the form of articles, case comments, legislative comments, book reviews, and research discussions that align with the magazine's aim and scope.

The Centre for Public International Law (CPIL) at GNLU, Gandhinagar, was established in 2010 to advance legal research in Public International Law, the Law of the Sea, Maritime Law, and related disciplines. It fosters academic excellence through research, policy discussions, and collaborations with national and international stakeholders.

Submission Guidelines

• Word Limit: 3000-3500 words (exceptions on a case-by-case basis).

• Co-authorship: Allowed (maximum of two authors).

• Citation Style: OSCOLA 4th edition (No hyperlinks).

• Formatting: Garamond, Font Size: 12 (body), 10 (footnotes), Line Spacing: 1.5 (body), 1 (footnotes).

• Originality: Submissions must be unpublished and free from plagiarism.

• Review Process: Submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process and decisions are communicated within 6-8 weeks of submission.

• Deadline: 31st March 2025, 11:59 PM (IST).

• The body of the email must include author details (name, designation, affiliation, academic qualifications, and contact details).

• Attach the manuscript in .doc/.docx format.
