      Sanjay sir, faculty in charge of the NLIU Moot Court Association has 18 years of teaching experience in complex subjects ranging from interpretation of statutes to taxation and property law. He extended a very warm welcome to the students and the dignitaries. Emphasizing on the importance of learning rather than winning, he expressed how his first question to all the NLIU teams who go to various moots is “what did you learn?

      The Vice Chancellors address:

      The Vice Chancellor commenced his speech by warmly welcoming everybody to the 5th NLIU Justice R.K. Tankha Memorial International Arbitration Moot. He remarked proudly how the mooting culture has exponentially grown from a decade ago to now. He congratulated the BCI, UGC and the national law institutes on their continued efforts which have allowed for the development in the art of mooting. Commenting on the future reality of virtual connections rather than physical ones he cautioned the excited teams to not forget the human touch and choose physical competitions over virtual ones as human interaction and networking are priceless. Wishing them luck, he encouraged everybody to give their best at the competition and enjoy the hospitality of the MCA and NLIU.

      Proceeding with the ceremony, the dignitaries are called upon to officially inaugurate the Moot with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
