    Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys' cricket team won the 16th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cricket Tournament 2024. The Final was played in Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi on 01.12.2024. LKS team led by captain Anurag Kapur defeated S&A Law by 6 runs in the Final match.

    28 top law firms participated in the tournament and played some very good and entertaining T20 cricket. After defeating Charter Law Chambers comfortably in the Quarter Finals and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in a nail-biting super over the finish in the Semi-Finals, LKS squared off against S&A Law in the Finals for the Cup 3rd time in a row in this competition.

    Deciding to bat after having won the toss, LKS put up a score of 138 for the loss of 7 wickets. Though S&A Law fought well till the end, LKS emerged victorious in an engaging last-over thriller restricting S&A Law to 132 runs for the fall of 8 wickets.

    Lakshman Singh was declared as Man of the Match for his all-round performance with both the bat (41 runs) and the ball (1 wicket). Yogesh Srinivasan won the Batsman of the Tournament award for his aggregate score of 311 runs at an average of 62.2 and strike rate of over 180. Raghavan Ramabadran was declared the Bowler of the Tournament for having bagged 10 wickets in 6 innings with an economy of 5.17.
