Kochhar & Co. Advises Adani Defence On Acquisition Of Air Works, India's Largest Private MRO Company

Kochhar & Co. Advised Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Limited (ADSTL) in the execution of transaction documents for the acquisition of an 85.8% shareholding in Air Works, India's largest private sector MRO company, with the most extensive pan-India footprint. The transaction is valued at an enterprise value of INR 400 crore.

Air Works' operations span 35 cities, and its workforce of over 1,300 personnel brings considerable expertise in maintaining both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. This acquisition is set to significantly enhance Adani's capabilities in the aviation maintenance sector.

The transaction was led by Nishant Arora, Partner at Kochhar & Co.'s Delhi office, with support from Associate Shrishty Anand. The team advised ADSTL on all legal aspects of the transaction, including the review, drafting, negotiation, and finalization of the transaction documents.
