    Arbitration proceedings pertaining to the dispute arising out of termination of a railways signaling contract awarded by Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) to state owned Chinese contractor CRSC Research & Design Institute Group Co. Ltd. (CRSCD) following the deadly border clash between Indian and Chinese armed forces in the Himalayas in June 2020 is reportedly about to conclude. After a fierce battle before the Delhi High Court, the parties referred the disputes to arbitration under the aegis of ICC. The cross examination of witnesses and experts concluded in July 2024 and the arbitral award is likely to be rendered in early 2025.
