After a successful stint of 15 years spanned across Conglomerates and Law Firms, Janhvi Pradhan Deshmukh along with her team has set up Helios Legal, a boutique law firm with locations in Mumbai and Delhi, which will leverage her multi-industry experience in building sustainable legal processes and offering ethical & balanced legal solutions to businesses.
A law graduate from Government Law College and a Masters from the UK, Janhvi believes that lawyers have to move away from their traditional role and don various hats to work closely with the senior management of companies to understand keenly the intricacies of each business, the challenges faced by businesses and help them prioritize their legal requirements at each stage. Janhvi is known for her work on Cross border and Domestic Transaction Advisory, investor negotiations, Media and Entertainment Laws, Sports Laws, Data Privacy Laws, Technology Laws, Employment Laws and General Corporate and Commercial Laws.
Ex-Partners from Kay Legal, Amit Karkhanis, who recently launched his Independent Counsel Practice and Hemant Manjani who practices independently in Delhi, form the team of Off-Counsels at Helios Legal, which completes the top bracket at Helios and will offer a full range of legal services.
Helios Legal is working on offering an AI based data risk audit model in association with a UK based company focused on identifying the risk of exposure faced by companies using data on a large level.

Janhvi is also a certified Prevention of Sexual Harassment expert and specialises in training the Internal Committees of organisations and counselling women employees and students on sexual harassment at work and educational institutes. She is passionate about data privacy issues, gender neutrality and women entrepreneurship and loves speaking about these at various forums.
