Argus Partners has acted as the lead adviser to Alkemi Venture Partners ("Alkemi") when it invested in Arctern Healthcare Private Limited, which operates under the brand name, "Meddo", in the pre-Series A round at $ 6 million. Along-with Alkemi, the other investors comprised, SRI Capital and Picus Capital.

Meddo equips OPD clinics with technology-enabled, digital solutions to turn them into full service medical centres complete with ERM systems, diagnostic support, medicine delivery services/ support.

The team of Argus Partners was led by Vinod Joseph and Suchita Ambadipudi (Partners) along with Smriti Tripathi, Pranav Pillai, Protiti Basu and Anurag Prasad (Associates).

Vinod has over twenty years' experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer, of which seven were in London.Vinod has extensive experience in structuring and setting up private equity and venture capital funds, preparing fund documents and obtaining requisite regulatory approvals for such funds. Vinod has also supervised and worked on many transactions involving investments by funds in Indian companies.

 Suchita, in her career of more than a decade as a corporate and commercial lawyer, has worked on various capital markets transactions including domestic and international listings, rights offerings, offers for sale, buy-backs, foreign currency convertible bond offerings, and private placements. She is also experienced in the area of venture capital, having assisted numerous companies and investors in their rounds of funding
