Essential Qualification and Experience

Under Secretary (Litigation Affairs)

• Officers under the Central/State Governments/ Union Territories: (a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis: or (ii)with 5 years regular service in post in the scale of Rs.5500-175-9000(pre-revised) or equivalent: and (b)possessing the educational qualifications and experience laid down for direct recruits i.e., (i) Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) 7 years' experience in legal matters in a Central/State Government Department or Union Territory Administration; OR

• Should be a qualified legal practitioner who is an advocate or pleader and has practiced as such for a period of 4 years.

Assistant Public Prosecutor

• Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent.

• Must have practiced as an advocate for two years.

• Knowledge of Konkani.
