Essential Qualification and Experience

• Bachelors/ master's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication and related engineering field.

• Patent Registration is must.

• Having a law degree will be an added advantage.

• Overall experience of 3 to 5 years in a law firm or industry of which atleast 2 to 3 years as Patent Agent.

• In depth knowledge in drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications.

• Good experience with client communications.

• Good command over English, both spoken and written.

Roles & Responsibility

• Candidate will be required to perform Patent search (Prior Art Search and insights into patentability), preparing IP opinions (patentability, FTO and invalidity), drafting patent specifications, knowledge on e-filing of patent applications, handling response to Office Actions (reply to FER/ SER), attending hearings with IPO and drafting and prosecuting design applications.
