Essential Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in law from a reputed institution/university.

• At least 10 years of working experience in judicial/ quasi-judicial body/ regulatory!, dealing with legal matters (of which at least five years of experience should be in the Power sector).

• The regulatory framework in the electricity sector of India.

• Relevant legislations of India.

• The policy regime includes the National Electricity Policy and Tariff Policy of India.

• Knowledge of Electricity Markets.
