The Union Territory of Puducherry Child Protection Society (UTPCPS) (A unit of Department of Women and Child Development), Puducherry invites application for the Post of Chairperson & Members of Child Welfare Committee and Members of Juvenile Justice Board, Puducherry for Re-Constitution of Child Welfare Committees (CWCs) & Juvenile Justice Boards (JJBs) in Puducherry, Mahe & Yanam regions.

Essential Qualification and Experience

Chairperson of Child Welfare Committee and Members of Child Welfare Committee

• Candidate shall have a minimum of seven years of experience of working with children in the field of education, health, or welfare activities, or should be a practicing professional with a degree in child psychology or psychiatry or social work or sociology or human development or in the field of law or a retired judicial officer.

Members of Juvenile Justice Board

• Candidate Shall have at least 7 years of experience of working with Children in the field of Education, Health or Welfare activities, or should be a Practicing professional with a degree in Child Psychology or Sociology or in the field of law.
