Essential Qualification and Experience

Law Officer

Deputation:

• Officers under the Central or State Governments or Union Territories/Central Autonomous Bodies/Semi-Government/ Statutory/ Organizations: (a) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; OR With five years of regular service in post in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay, Rs. 5400/- or equivalent; OR With six years' regular service in post in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs. 9300-34800+ GP Rs.4800 in the parent cadre or equivalent; OR

• With seven years' regular service in post in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.9300-34800+ GP Rs.4860 in the parent cadre or equivalent; Degree in Law (LLB/BL) of a recognized University or equivalent 5 years experience in handling service and other legal matters including those in the Courts or Tribunals.

Assistant Law Officer

Deputation:

• Officers under the Central or State Government or Union Territories, Universities, Public Sector Undertaking, Semi-Government/ Statutory/ Autonomous Organizations: (a) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre; OR With three years' service in the grade in the Level-7 (GP Rs.4600, Pre-revised) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre; OR With six years' service in the grade in the Level-7 (GP Rs. 4600, Pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre;

• Possessing a Law Degree from a recognized University.

• Experience in handling Legal services and other legal matters including those in the Courts or Tribunals at least three years.
