Central Electricity Regulatory Commission invites applications for the post of Deputy Chief (Legal) and Assistant Chief (Legal).

Essential Qualification and Experience

Deputy Chief (Legal)

• Degree in Law, preferably with specialization in regulations/Master's Degree in Law.

• Qualifying Service: Officers under the Central Government:- i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or equivalent; or ii) With 3 years regular service in the scale of PB-3: 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay 6600/- (Pre-revised), Revised to (67,700 – 2,08,700) Level-11 or equivalent; or iii) With 7 years regular service in the scale PB15600-39100 with Grade Pay -5,400/-(pre-revised) revised to Level - 10 (Rs 56,100-1,77,500/-)

• Judicial /Quasi- Judicial/ Legal matters including proceedings, petitions, pleadings, listing of case laws etc.

Assistant Chief (Legal)

• Degree in Law, preferably with specialization in Regulations/Master's Degree in law.

• Qualifying Service:-Officers under the Central Government:- i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis or equivalent; or ii) With 4 years regular service in the Level -10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-) of pay matrix or pre-revised PB.- 3, Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- - or equivalent; or iii) With 5 years combined regular service in the Level-08 (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100/-)of pay matrix or pre-revised PB.-3, Grade Pay Rs. 4,800/- or equivalent; or iv) With 6 years of regular service in the Level -07 (Rs. 44,900-1,43,400/-) of pay matrix or pre-revised PB.- 3, Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/-

• Judicial /Quasi-Judicial/ Legal matters including proceedings, petitions, pleadings, listing of case laws etc.
