The High Court of Meghalaya invites online applications for the post of District Judges (Unreserved) from Advocates as prescribed under Schedule - B of Meghalaya Higher Judicial Service Rules 2015 and Meghalaya Higher Judicial Service (Amendment) Rules 2022.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Must be a holder of a degree in Law from a recognized University;

• Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of criminal and civil jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have so practiced for a period of not less than 7 (seven) years as on such date as per Annexure-A.

• Must have a working knowledge of either Khasi, Jaintia or Garo language.
