Archaeological Survey of India invites applications for the post of Director General (Legal) by Deputation (including short-term contract) from Members of Delhi or other States Government Higher Judicial Service (HJS), Group 'A' Officers of the Indian Legal Service and officers from Central or State Government or Union Territories or Public Sector undertakings, Statutory Bodies, Semi Government Organization, Recognized Research Institutes and Universities etc.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Graduate from a recognized University or Institute.

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University or Institute; and

• Nine years experience of working in the Legal Department of the designated organization or administration of Law in a Judicial or Quasi-Judicial Capacity; or

• Integrated Graduation plus Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) (five years duration) from a recognized University or Institute; and

• Ten years experience of working in the Legal Department of the designated organization or administration of Law in Judicial or Quasi-Judicial Capacity.
