Central Electricity Regulatory Commission invites application for the post of Advisor (Law) to commission on contractual basis.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in law from a reputed institution/ University.

• The candidate should have at least 10 to 15 years working experience in judicial / quasi-judicial body / regulatory body, Electricity sector, dealing with legal matters.

• In depth understanding of regulatory framework in the Electricity sector of India including CERC terms and conditions of tariff.

• Knowledge of relevant legislation of India.

• The policy regime including National Electricity Policy and Tariff Policy of India.

• Experience in drafting of regulations and orders.

• Excellent written and communications skills Strong analytical skills Adept in working on computers including MS Office.
