Institute of Law Nirma University Foundation Day Celebration (2017-18)

Institute of Law Nirma University (ILNU) celebrated its 10^th foundation year on 19^th August 2017 by felicitating achievers and carrying out numerous social activities. The chief guest of the occasion was Shri Kamal Trivedi, Advocate General of Gujarat. The opening welcome address was made by Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Dean & Director, ILNU. This foundation day celebration continued for a week starting from 14^th August with students of NSS wing of ILNU spending an evening at blind people association, adoption and plantation of new saplings, blood donation camp, an evening Cricket match, musical evening at Old-Age Home and ending on a high note with the felicitation programme for ILNU achievers at 19^th August 2017.

Shri Trivedi praised the work ILNU had been carrying out in the past and blessed the occasion by motivating each and every member of ILNU family. Shri Trivedi stated that, it is an advantage for all the students studying here as they were presented with an opportunity to study at a place of such high stature.

It was the decadal celebration as ILNU completed its 10 year journey. ILNU completed these 10 years with a high place in the deliverance of legal education with its primary focus on justice education. In previous years it reached among country’s top law schools and garnered a vision of bright future and many dynamic opportunities for its students. ILNU had been setting up a unique culture of continuous performance-based learning and healthy environment for students to prosper with the proper amount of social responsibility embedded in each and every student towards society.

The service of ILNU in past 10 years has helped many students by giving them opportunities to perform without getting restrained in any way. After all these years of hard work and permanent dedication from faculty, students and staff ILNU has become a temple of nurturing excellence.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Anup K. Singh, Director General Nirma University; Shri D.P. Chhaya, Director (Academic & General Administration), Dr. Tarkesh Molia and Dr. Pranav Saraswat (Academic Coordinator) ILNU.
