The Telangana High Court has announced to the Bar, measures that are being taken to introduce new electronic facilities in the Court.
An advocate today had requested the bench to give a definitive date, while adjourning the matter, praying that there would be clarity as to when the matter would be placed before the Bench again.
Chief Justice Alok Aradhe while addressing the grievance of the lawyer stated in open Court, that the High Court was soon introducing a system of “auto-dating” cases.
“It is a system generated date, and it comes round about that time before the Court and it will be listed. You don’t need to have that apprehension now.”
The Bar also placed before the Bench the grievance of order/judgements not being uploaded on time. It was further stated that only when there are specific directions from the Court, are orders being uploaded and that generally orders are taking seven to fourteen days to be uploaded.
“This issue has also been posted before the Hon’ble Judges. We have invited their views. This demand was already placed before us by the Bar Association and it is under active consideration. We will come up with some sort of guideline. We are examining what the difficulty is.”
Previously, on 15th August, the Chief Justice in his speech had stated that, soon, in the State of Telangana, proceedings from every Court in the High Court will be live streamed and hybrid mode will be made available to parties and lawyers. As of now, only the 1st court provides for virtual representations.
Adding to that, Chief Justice Aradhe announced steps are being taken for introduction E-filing so as to make the Telangana High Court a paper-less court.
