Former Kerala HC Judge Justice KA Nair Passes Away

Justice K A Nayar (87), Former Judge  of High Court of Kerala passed away on 12.9.2017 at his residence in Diwans Road. He was ailing for some time due to age related complications. Justice Nayar hails from the Karimbil Family of Nileswaram, Kasargod District.

Justice Nayar was an alumnus of Oxford University and thereafter qualified as a Barrister of the Inner Temple in 1953. Till his elevation as a Judge of the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, on 2.1.1989, he served as a senior partner of the leading law firm Menon & Pai. Justice Nayar is survived by his wife, Mrs. Chandralekha Nayar, son A.K Jayasankaran Nambiar (presently Judge, High Court of Kerala) and daughter Mrs Pramila Nambiar . His son in law Vinod Nambiar is President, Colgate Palmolive Ltd. His daughter in law is Mrs Indu Nambiar. Gopika Nambiar, Devika Nambiar & Akhila Nambiar are his granddaughters.
