Insiyah is the author of "The Fearless Judge: The Life and Times of Justice A. M. Ahmadi" - an intimate biography of her grandfather. Insiyah is an independent Indian journalist, commentator, and scholar with an interest in the subjects of minority rights, media studies, hate politics, gender and caste-based violence as well as the critical examination of institutionalised human rights violations, particularly in religious and racial contexts.
This book offers a deep and personal look into Justice Ahmadi's life, while also exploring the tumultuous 1990s in India—an era defined by political upheaval and landmark judicial decisions that helped shape the country's cultural and political trajectory. Through this narrative, Insiyah explores not only her grandfather's remarkable legal journey but also underscores his influential role in helping steer India through one of the most transformative decades in Indian history.
