    Delhi High Court Women Lawyers Forum (DHWLF) is organizing a webinar on the topic "Seizing Opportunities & Not Focussing On The Glass Ceiling Is The Way Forward" under its 'Virtual Canteen' programme.

    "An Act for the removal of doubts regarding the right of women to be enrolled and practice as legal practitioners" was passed in April 1923. Regina Das who had steered the campaign for the women's right to be enrolled as 'vakil' did not live to see the passage of Act but the path was laid for women to enrol and practise as Advocates. From being a male bastion to only open for a very few, the profession has grown to be populated by women in each and every area of practise. Women in legal profession are visible, audible and undefeatable.

    While the webinar will focus of exploring the individual journey of the Speakers in the backdrop of the judicial history of past 4 to 5 decades and discussing the way forward, there will be Q & A session for the participants.
