Comprehensive Mega Medical Camp Conducted By The High Court Of Telangana From 27 To 29 July 2022

A three-day-long Comprehensive Mega Medical Camp exclusively for the members of the legal fraternity was hosted by the High Court of Telangana from 27th to 29th July 2022.

Chief Justice of the High Court for the State of Telangana, Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, inaugurated the camp. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Judges of the High Court, Advocate General B.S.Prasad, Chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana Advocate A.Narasimha Reddy, Registrars of the High Court, President, Bar Association, Osmania General Hospital Superintendent Dr Nagender and his team, and many other dignitaries. 

For the medical camp, the Medical and Health Department of the Government of Telangana has made elaborate arrangements for medical examinations and consultations in the fields of Neurology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Nephrology, General Medicine, Urology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Oncology, Endocrinology and Radiology.

The camp was widely publicised so that more members of the legal fraternity would be able to utilise it. Over 1660 members of the legal fraternity consulted the doctors and underwent a medical examination, and more than 900 individuals got vaccinated with the Precautionary Dose of Covid-19 vaccine during the camp. It was the first of its kind medical camp in the history of the High Courts, with such a massive turnout from different stakeholders of the legal fraternity. 

The members of the Bar expressed their profound contentment over the arrangements made in conducting the comprehensive medical camp as a large number of members of the legal fraternity were able to avail these benefits in one go and one place.
