Call For Papers:International Interdisciplinary Seminar On “Realization Of Human Rights In A Globalised World”

Department of Law, Central University of Kerala is organizing International Interdisciplinary Seminar on “Realization of Human Rights in a Globalised World”.

Seminar Date: 4th, 5th and 6th of January 2018
Conference Venue: Central University Campus, BSNL Arcade, Thiruvalla, Kerala, India

Who can apply?

The organizers of the Seminar calls upon the legal profession, academicians from all other disciplines , administrators, University students, young and upcoming research scholars, social activists and the representatives of governmental and nongovernmental organizations to present their research papers relevant to the below-mentioned themes.

Submission: An abstract not exceeding two pages shall be submitted for consideration. The abstract shall contain:

• Title of paper


• Synopsis of the Paper


• Reference materials


• Conclusion indicating author’s perspective


• Presenter(s) name and title


• Postal addresses


• E-mail addresses and


• Telephone numbers of all contributors

The abstract should be mailed to Dr.K.C.Sunny, Professor and Head, Department of Law, School of Legal Studies, Central University of Kerala (lawsemcuk@gmail.com) on or before September 14th, 2017.

The abstracts and papers shall be screened by a committee in a blind, peer review process and the papers approved by the committee shall be accepted for presentation in the conference.

Best Papers Awards: Three Best Paper award will be given, one each for students from graduate, post graduate and doctoral level. Awards will be given on the basis of following norms:

• Novel Contribution, Originality in Thought and Inferences


• Research Work


• Clarity Precision and Coherence


• Language and style


• Style of oral presentation

Registration fees:

For Indian Delegates (without accommodation): Rs 3000 (Rs 2000 for students)

For foreign Delegates (without accommodation): 200 US Dollars (100 US dollars for Students)

For foreign Delegates (with accommodation): 700 US Dollars (Single Room) 600 US Dollars for students

For Indian Delegates (with accommodation for 3 days): Double occupancy Rs 10000/- (Rs 7000 for students) and single occupancy Rs12000/-(Rs 9000 for students)

• Communication of status of abstract: September 22nd , 2017


• Submission of Full length papers: October 23rd , 2017 


• Submission of revised papers: November 1st, 2017
