Applications for Junior Research Fellowship: Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy

The Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy (VCLP), an independent legal think tank comprising legal academics from leading universities around the world and practicing lawyers based in India,has invited application from students for the post of “The Vidhi Junior Research Fellow of Law and Policy”. The positionis fully paid and full time one –year fellowship based out of vidhi offices in Delhi.
Projects will be classified into four thematic areas:
- Public law including constitutional law
- Administrative law and human rights
- Environmental law
- International law including WTO law, international arbitration and public international law
Applications are invited from candidates with expertise and experience in any of the above mentioned thematic areas.
Rewards and Benefits:
Monthly pay: Competitive (with a minimum of 35,000 per month with possibility for renewal for 1 additional year)
Duration: one year commencing from July 1, 2014 with possibility for renewal for one additional year.
Procedure for Application and Important Dates:
Interested applicants should send electronic copies of:
a) Their latest CV (not more than 2 full length A4 pages)
b) An original academic written work not exceeding 2000 words (published or unpublished)
c) A brief statement of their motivations in applying for the Vidhi Fellowship (not exceeding 500 words).
d) Latest academic transcripts.
e) Name and contact details of two referees who may be contacted for references.
