NALSAR University of Law invites contributions for Environmental Law and Practice Review
NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad (NALSAR) has invited entries for the 3rd Volume of the Environmental Law and Practice Review (ELPR). Environmental Law and Practice Review (ELPR) is a journal published annually by the NALSAR and is part of its ongoing endeavor. Following two successful issues of the Journal, in continuance of the effort to encourage academic discourse and legal literature in the field of Environmental law, the Board of Editors (2013-14) of ELPR now invite submissions for the third volume of the issue.
Publication Policy:
All contributions must be in the form of articles, essays, notes and comments. Any material submitted to the Journal should not have been published elsewhere or be under consideration at any other publication. Joint authorship is permitted and there is no specific cap on the number of authors per submission.
Plagiarism in any form shall result in instant rejection of the submission. The decision of the Board -of Editors in this matter is final and binding. The Editorial Board of ELPR shall not be responsible for any material that is defamatory or immoral and the author shall be deemed to have obtained the permission of the referred author in case the work is unpublished.

Submission Guidelines:
All submissions must contain an abstract of not more than 300 words.
1. Article should have a theme or a core argument around which it would ideally revolve. It should not exceed 10,000 words inclusive of footnotes.
2. Essay must be more concise and brief in scope without indulging in excessive theorizing. It should not exceed 6,000 words, which includes footnotes also.
3. Case Comment/Legislative Critique should not exceed 3500 words, which also includes footnotes.
4. Book Review shall incorporate a complete analysis and an overview of the book, along with special reference to the original author's ideas, his writing style etc. Direct lifting of more than thirty words (i.e. a paragraph) from the book being reviewed is strictly discouraged and will result in immediate disqualification. It must not date back to more than three years from its date of issue/ publication in the public domain. A book review should not exceed 3000 words, inclusive of footnotes.
Citation Guidelines:
All citations must be strictly in accordance with the Bluebook, 19th edition. Keeping in mind the specifications of the Bluebook, speaking footnotes are discouraged.
