2024: A Landmark Year Of MoUs For DNLU Jabalpur

The year 2024 has been a remarkable period of academic collaboration for Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur. Under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha and Registrar Dr. Praveen Tripathi, the University has entered into numerous Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with esteemed institutions across India and abroad, setting a significant milestone in its journey towards global academic integration.

The list of distinguished institutions with which DNLU has formalized collaborations includes India International University of Legal Education and Research (IIUCLER), Goa; Bennett University; PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur; National Law University, Delhi; Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU); The Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies (ICPS); MoU with Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj, National Law Institute University, Bhopal; Prayas Institute of Juvenile Justice (PIJJ); Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar; Chanakya National Law University, Patna; and several others.

In addition to these collaborations, DNLU organized several national and international conferences, which provided platforms for intellectual exchange and interdisciplinary discussions. These events included the International Conference on Gender Dimensions of Trade under the aegis of the WTO Chairs Programme, the National Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Deep Fake & Regulatory Mechanisms for AI, the National Conference on Transgender Rights, and the Interdisciplinary International Conference on Law, Economics & Artificial Intelligence.

The University also witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and legal experts worldwide in a variety of academic and training programs. Highlights included the Seminar on Revisiting the Requirement for Specialized Trade Secret Legislation in India, the Training Programme for Officials of the Economic Offence Wing Jabalpur on Newly Implemented Criminal and Corruption Laws, the 4th Justice R.K. Tankha National Parliamentary Debate, the 1st Single Credit cum Certificate Course on Corporate Litigation, the National Moot Court Competition, and the Two-Day Boot Camp on New Criminal Laws (BNS, BNSS, & BSA).

Furthermore, DNLU actively contributed to societal awareness through various impactful initiatives, including the Aadhaar Updation Drive, street plays (Nukkad Nataks), speed mentoring sessions, Jan Sunwai sessions, legal awareness drives, and village visits. These activities demonstrated the University's commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, fostering a deeper connection between academia and societal needs. DNLU aspires to continue its unwavering commitment towards academic excellence and societal growth, striving for greater achievements in the upcoming year 2025.
