Union Public Service Commission has invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Additional Law Officer at Law Commission of India.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years as on normal closing date.

Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400- 67000 plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 95427/-p.m. approximately)

Essential Qualifications

1. Bachelor Degree in Law
2. He should have experience in the State Government in a post which is not clerical and which requires qualification of Degree in Law for appointment to it.
3. An advocate or a pleader who has practised as such for at least thirteen years or an attorney of the High Court of Bombay or Calcutta who has practised as such attorney and an advocate for a total period of at least eleven years.
4. He has been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than thirteen years or has held a superior.
5. A Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than thirteen years or is a qualified legal practitioner
