1st LAWSISTO - Movie Making, Article Writing and Essay Writing Competitions

Lawsisto is hosting a series of competitions especially for law students across the globe. The competitions will not only test their academic skills, but also will give way to their creative minds. The first of its kind, the lawsisto competitions aim at providing a new outlook towards social problems.
Categories of the Competition:
The competition shall be hosted in 3 broad and distinct categories:
- Short Movie Making
- Article Writing
- Essay Writing
Theme:The themes of all the Competitions shall be the same. A participant may choose any one of the following themes in any one or more of the categories:
- Counter Terrorism
- Anti-Corruption
- Human Right Violations
Eligibility:
- Any student pursuing bachelors or masters in Law from any of the Universities recognised by the Bar Council of India is eligible to participate in the competition.
- Non-Law Students in any undergraduate or postgraduate program may also participate subject to their liaison with a law student, i.e. the non-law student must co-participate with a law student.

Registration Fee:
- The registration fee per category of competition is Rs. 250 (+GST).
- In case of co-authorship (wherever applicable), only one student needs to enroll and make payment. The other author has to register on the website, but no enrolment or payment needs to be done.
- The fee charged is per category of competition and not per student.
Registration Process:
- Go to http://www.lawsisto.com/ law students
- Click on "Law Student Sign Up/Login" on the upper right hand corner of the page.
- Fill in the details and complete the procedure.
- Once you are signed in, go to "view profile" option under your name.
- Under the competitions tab in the left hand corner, click on "Enrol Now".
- Fill in the details. Make the payment.
Prizes: The following prizes shall be awarded separately in each category:
- 1st Best International Future Lawyer Award, 2017- Cash Prize of Rs10000/-
- 2nd Best International Future Lawyer Award, 2017- Cash Prize of Rs.5000/-
- 3rd Best International Future Lawyer Award, 2017- Cash Prize of Rs.3000/-
Timeline:
- Enrolment: From 1st September 2017 to 31st October 2017
- Submission: From 1st October 2017 to 15th November 2017
- Reviewing: From 1st November 2017 to 15th December 2017
- Results on Website: 31st December 2017
- Prize Distribution: Between 26th to 31st January 2018
