  • 100 percent placement for NALSAR’s batch of 2015

    NALSAR’s batch of 2015 has achieved a golden figure of 100 percent placements. Releasing the news through a press note, the University’s RCC said, “Building on our successful Day Zero conducted on the 18th and 19th April, 2014, we are pleased to announce that we have reached the 100% mark for placements for the graduating class of 2015. The placement season continued throughout the academic year culminating in May, 2015 when the final subscribers were placed.”

    The Class of 2015 in NALSAR had 72 students, with 52 opting to sit for placements. All the 52 were placed across a range of law firms, including Allen and Overy, UK which took 2 students.

    Meanwhile, “the students who opted not to sit for placements have received LLM offers from leading foreign universities like Harvard, Oxford, SOAS, LSE apart from the one Rhodes Scholar. Some have opted to go in for litigation while others are taking UPSC, Judicial Services exams, Judicial Clerkships with one opting for entrepreneurship.”

    The Recruitment Coordination Committee in its press note thanked the academic model at NALSAR which was introduced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Faizan Mustafa. It also said, “We would proudly point out that the NALSAR 2015 Class received the highest number of Day Zero offers among all the law schools and is the first to report the 100% mark.”
