BJP MP Geeta from Uttar Pradesh refutes allegations made by Derek O'Brien against UP CM Yogi Adityanath -

"After becoming chief minister, Yogi Adityanath made anti-romeo squads to make women safer, created women battalions. He is very sensitive to women's issues."

Sibal: I ask members to put their hands on their hearts and ask themselves whether women in the country are socially, educationally, and economically empowered. The answer is no. This is a delayed step, where we want a leap forward for women to be empowered politically.

Independent MP Kapil Sibal: If census happens in 2026, there's going to be a lot of issues over delimitation since population in northern states has increased exponentially, but not in southern states. Now, we don't know who will come to power, but I want PM and home minister to make a statement that if they don't complete this process by 2029, they will resign. This will show us their genuineness.
