[Live-Updates] Hearing On Chandrasekhar Azad's Plea For Modification Of Bail Conditions

Pracha : "I am not doing anything unlawful. It's all in the open. There's nothing hidden.

Why is he the only one who is being treated this way?. His supporters are not being allowed to put forth their views".

"Provide me with a PSO, who will be their informer. If they apprehend that I'll do something unlawful, I have no problem with them spying on me even" - Pracha

Judge Lau mentions about the apprehension of prosecution that Azad's stay in Delhi could be a threat.

Pracha suggests that a policeman can be kept always with him.

Pracha says why is he the only one who is being targeted. Alleges that he's being targeted because he's SC.

Judge Lau interjects. I don't accept these arguments which are tainted with caste and religion. Don't put words in their mouth

Pracha : The purpose of this hearing is to provide a permanent address. I'm providing it. Owner on record says he's welcome to stay.

Pracha says he'll file affidavit, but he has a statement from Abbas.

He reads statement which says Azad is like a brother to him and he is free to come and stay there. There's no formal rent agreement. But he visits and is welcome to come any time

Pracha- Owner of address is Bahadur Abbas. He's my client. He has affirmed that Azad stays there.

Judge Lau- file an affidavit with that on record

PP- Next ground they've said that it's not feasible for weekly attendance as he needs to travel

Judge Lau- what's your stand on that?

PP- Whatever court deems fit.

PP- now the next submission is about treatment as he's unwell. They say it's difficult to take permission

Judge Lau- I never asked them to take permission. I said simply inform. I have not said anything regarding stopping treatment.

Pracha agrees

Pracha- Yes, haven't yet held.

Judge Lau- Ok so no meetings there yet.
