Justice Maheshwari: No one knows when exams will be able to held. You can’t leave everything in uncertainty.

Bench: We are rejecting that argument, we can’t keep students in uncertainty #CBSE #ICSE

Justice Maheshwari: Any candidate will straight way not know where he/she is going to stand. What’s been provided is they are preparing results on this basis, and who isn’t satisfied may take exams.

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:47 AM GMT

Bench: In larger public interest we can’t take your suggestion.

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:46 AM GMT

Bench: Previously they have said exams will be held in August- September so results will be out by October.

Singh: That’s the problem it shouldn’t come so late

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:45 AM GMT

Singh: We are saying results of written exams should also be declared together.

AG: Written exams will depend on Covid

      Singh: That’s the problem

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:44 AM GMT

Bench: One direction that can be passed is that Boards can be asked to declare results in one go.

AG: Of internal assessment. Ours will be July 31st.

Bench: We are talking about all Boards

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:44 AM GMT

AG: If student sees results of internal assessment and has good marks, they might not want to appear in exams.

Singh: Assessment and exams can be done simultaneously. Exams can take place now. Covid rate has decreased

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:42 AM GMT

Bench: We have understood from AG the effect of accepting your suggestion, which is students will have only one option.

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:41 AM GMT

Singh: There should be only one result. I don’t want improvisation etc. That will create uncertainty for students.

    • 22 Jun 2021 9:41 AM GMT

Bench to Singh: The effect of taking your submission will be that students will only have one option.
