    Calcutta High Court is hearing the CBI's case against the bail granted to TMC leaders Firhad Hakim, Madan Mitra, Subrata Mukherjee and Souvan Chatterjee in the #NaradaScam case.

    A bench of Acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Arijeet Banerjee is hearing an application by CBI to transfer the bail applications from the Special CBI Court to the High Court, citing the "unprecedented mob pressure" exerted by the protests of Chief Minister Mamanata Banerjee and Law Minister Moloy Ghatak.

    The bench is also hearing the applications filed by the arrested TMC leaders seeking recall of the stay order passed by the High Court on May 17.

      Luthra : There is a chargesheet filed. There is a remand application filed on the same day. It has no mention of law and order situation.

      Luthra : With respect to many other accused, there are revisions pending in the High Court in which stay orders have been passed.

      Acting CJ Rajesh Bindal says that the bench was told that CBI won't be able to produce the accused before court because people is sitting outside CBI office.

      Luthra : CBI is an agency which is operating under a stay order of the Supreme Court. It is hanging on a stay order. If that stay order goes...we will see.

      Luthra says that by the time CBI sent the letter to Chief Justice and Governor, they had approached the Special Court for virtual hearing.
