CBI Seeks Arvind Kejriwal's Custody: Live Updates From Hearing

CBI counsel: Meeting takes place. Next day Kavitha demanded crores from Reddy.

Raghav Magunta gets a partnership in the wholesale business. All this is done with knowledge of the Chief Minister. 

CBI counsel: K Kavitha, co accused, contacts Reddy. Vijay Nair then visited Hyderabad.

Court: Please tell me, You say this MP met Kejriwal and asked him to give support. It's not the CM asking him to come. It's the other way around?

CBI counsel: Vijay Nair was Kejriwal's close associate. Magunta Reddy meets Kejriwal in his office. He requested him to provide support in liquor business. He said the meeting assured Kejriwal's support.

Court: How many accused in this case till now?

CBI counsel: 17 already chargesheeted.

Court: What is the material against the accused?

CBI counsel: The first meeting with Magunta Reddy, it started with that. The same date, meeting of Vijay Nair. 

CBI counsel: Members of South Group come and stay in Oberoi, Delhi. During the stay, there was a note made by Manish Sisodia. Then same day, South Group accesses the computer and take printouts. Boinpally and Buchi Babu took taxi and travelled to venue next to office of Vijay Nair.

CBI counsel: It is this policy which was ultimately approved by GoM and is the same given by the South Group.

No detailed minutes of any meeting. No discussion, no discussion on the wholesale model. 

CBI counsel: Two officers changed. A new file is created. Another officer assumes office and he directs for fresh cabinet note. That general summary of comments doesn't indicate these comments also.

CBI counsel: There is an expert committee report. How and what kind of policy should be made.

Court: Where does this come in the entire procedure? 

Court: I am saying there is report, public views come. Some views taken off from file. Report is placed before Group of Ministers with favourable views... What happened next?

CBI counsel: Those comments which were incorporated by the officer. The officer then became a villain for them, he was changed.
