The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has notified the names of 29 Officers for appreciation certificates and medals for “Specially Distinguished Record of Service”.
Each year, the CBIC’s officers and staff are given consideration for Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificates and Medals for "Exceptionally Meritorious Service rendered at the Risk of Life" and for "Specially Distinguished Record of Service" on the basis of their attaining and maintaining excellence in the performance of their duties. On the night before Republic Day, these awards are announced.
For the Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificates and Medals for "Specially Distinguished Record of Service," 29 officers and staff have been chosen this year. The officers were chosen based on their consistently excellent and faultless performance in their specialized fields of service.
Officers serving in the positions of Principal Additional Director General, Additional Director, Director, Assistant Commissioner, Superintendents/Senior Intelligence Officers, Intelligence Officers, Senior Translator, Administrator Officer, and Head Havaldar were among those chosen for this year's awards. These individuals have consistently demonstrated their dedication to the department over the years in a variety of capacities.
